Mei n Yu (International)

My wife and I attended a special 6 course meal at Mei n Yu, located on Amwaj. 
This was a very nice, fine dining, experience. The meal came with a Galantine of Qual with Pistachio, Onion Marmalade & Sweet Balsamic Reduction.  Once complete, they offered a Sorbet with Creme D Cassis. My favorite serving of the night was the Ginger Bread Crumbed, Pan Fried Foie Gras and Crayfish Salad drizzled with Pomegranate Juice. The soup was Roasted Pepper with a Twisted Pesto Stick. The fish course was Seared Scallop and Pan Fried Parrot Fish laced with Grapefruit Emulsion.  There was a selection of two main courses, I chose the Grilled Tournedos of Beef topped with WIld Mushrooms in a baked puff pastry and served with Juniper Berries, Nectarine Flavored Sauce & Roasted Vegetables. My wife had the Pan Fried Duck Breast sliced over Chaterelle, Silver Onion, Puy Lentils and  Watercress Puree. For dessert, a Chocolate Dome filled with Avocado Creme Brulee & Raspberry Comport with Mint Coulees. 

After the dessert, the Chef came out and greeted the table. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience.  This was my only time visiting the restaurant.  I've heard from others that the special meals are always a hit.
