Amsterdam (Breakfast)

There are a couple new restaurants located near the Gulf Hotel in Adlyia. One of which, is Cafe Amsterdam.  My wife and a couple friends went for breakfast to check it out.  The restaurant itself is very nice. Once inside, you'll find several different dining areas, each with its own decor and theme, of which you may find in Amsterdam.  We were escorted to the "breakfast" section.   The menu included American Style Pancakes (2BD), French Toast (2BD), Cereal and Fruit (1.5BD) to mention a few.  We however, went for a more hearty breakfast selection.  I went for the English Breakfast (4.5BD), which included eggs to order, baked beans, beef or pork sausage, beef or pork bacon, black pudding and toast.  My breakfast was very, very good.  The sausages were my favorite part of the dish; although, that was also my first time trying black pudding, which I enjoyed as well.  Also ordered at the table was the Eggs Benedict (4BD) and Omelets (4BD).  I was told the Eggs Benedict was really good; however, the Omelets were a disappointment.  For 4BD, there wasn't a lot of food on the plate.  Overall, a nice experience.
